Cambodia 2015

18 students traveled to Cambodia to discover a vibrant culture still recovering from a devastating genocide forty years ago. They explored ancient majestic temples, interviewed a Nobel peace Prize winner and landmine survivor, did community service at a Montessori School for poor rural children, learned traditional shadow puppetry, and devoured delicious cuisine including fried tarantula! Upon their return, students created documentaries, blogs and photo essays on subjects ranging from human trafficking to the arts as a healing tool.
